Meet your new family photographer from the heart of the Midwest who makes the most out of the little moments

connection // the sense of closeness and belongingness a person can experience when having loved ones around them

My biggest realization yet is just how much people gravitate to the photos that make you stop and stare. The photos that radiate emotion and connection and feeling. The photos that showcase the vulnerability and trust within relationships. You know, the small moments. The moments that make you feel something.

When the new big sister squeezes daddy's cheeks and nuzzles in for a "nose kiss." The bit of laughter from a little boy who's having a joy ride on dad's shoulders. The sweetest embrace of a mother holding her newborn baby or tickling the toes of her joyful toddler. The bouncing curls of a free-spirited five year old or the quiet admiration of a couple watching their children play Ring Around the Rosie.

When I started implementing and showing beauty for what it is - the perfectly imperfect - the significance of what seems insignificant, my passion for photography reignited tenfold. I found my niche and what I wanted to cling to.

My goal is to let you experience and enjoy connection throughout your family session. And while I'll guide you to do that, I will be preserving those tiny little golden moments of the in between.

The art of connection is powerful. Let me help you create some magic.

Hi there

I'm Rachel. Thanks for checking out my little corner of the internet.

Located in the heart of small town, Nebraska, Rachel is one of southwest Nebraska's most sought after family and newborn photographers. She has been serving Arapahoe and the surrounding areas for nearly ten years. On top of beautiful photographs and high-end heirlooms, you'll enjoy a personalized and one-of-a-kind experience as she guides you through the entire process putting your mind at ease.

She's got a heart for loving people and a soul that craves connection. Happy to help you preserve life's most precious moments.

I want to tell your story. My goal is to capture the love and connection between your family in an authentic way. Family sessions are laid back and fun.

I want you to remember those little details. The way her curls bounce when she belly laughs and the way his nose crinkles when he giggles. My goal is to capture you just as you are.

Let's capture the details - both big and little. That full head of hair and that sweet baby yawn. Newborn sessions are held in my downtown Arapahoe studio in the first two weeks of life.
